Sheri Prescott Ministries

"Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground." Psalm 143:8

With her sweet smile, contagious joy, and vivacious personality, Sheri can't help but make an impact on everyone she meets. As an author, speaker, inspirational soloist, and conference host, Sheri has said, "I want to be a 'generation-changer.' There is healing and freedom through Jesus’ love. I want every young woman to experience that kind of
real love – it puts a Hollywood script to shame." Her goal is to motivate, challenge, and encourage her audiences to live wholeheartedly for Jesus Christ and to know the life-changing message of the Gospel.
Just one week after graduating from Forest City Christian High School, Sheri became one of the youngest Miss Iowa's in history. During her twelve months as Miss Iowa 1997-98, Sheri traveled over 40,000 miles across Iowa and beyond. She spoke with youth, their parents, educators, and local volunteers in an effort to stop the decline of traditional family values in our society.

Through her pageant platform, “Empowering Youth to Excellence,” she taught strong values of excellence, hard work, and avenues to create positive peer-pressure and right life choices. Still today, Sheri advocates parent, teacher, and community accountability to instill within youth a firm foundation. “America became prosperous because of the integrity of our founding fathers... A people and country based on morals, values, and truth.” Sheri says.

She has testified at Congressional Field Hearings on education and has been a keynote speaker for over 80 schools, churches, businesses, and civic organizations. Sheri has also served as the Official Hostess to the state of Iowa.

She developed the youth component (a seven page handbook that outlines the steps County Policy Youth Members need to take to become involved in their communities while promoting traditional family values) for The Iowa Family Policy Center,  in Des Moines, Iowa, which is associated with Focus on the Family, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was the spokeswoman for The Abstinence Scholarship Fund, rewarding and encouraging sexual purity. In addition she was appointed a National Volunteer for Focus on The Family’s youth outreach programs. Sheri has also been a columnist for Families First magazine, a publication dedicated to inform, entertain, and serve families.

Sheri has appeared as a panelist on “Student Voices,” an educational television program for teenagers, as well as, done commercials for “Cable in the Classroom,” an educational resource for schools sponsored by TCI Cable.

She has served on the mission field in Eastern Europe, as well as taught English to junior high and high school students in Hungary and Poland. Sheri was the noted vocalist at a “Prisoner of War & Missing in Action Remembrance Ceremony,” for the US Military and has weekly helped lead praise and worship at a woman’s group for military spouses (PWOC). In addition Sheri has served as a youth sponsor for teens from across the Ft. Hood, TX, area and believes strongly in mentoring youth, doing so herself one-on-one with several young ladies. Sheri has also counseled at Bible camps, served at youth shelters, and has spoken before dozens of pro-family and conservative organizations, including: Faith Christian Center in Ft. Meyers, Florida, Christian Woman’s organizations throughout the United States, True Love Waits conferences in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Inner-city Heart Ministry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her passion to share Christ continues to grow as she is actively involved with women’s ministries across the country, including MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) and recently as the Vice-President of PWOC (Protestant Women of The Chapel) at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

Her debut book, How To Be A Super Model: A Guide to Inner Beauty, addresses the tough issues young women face, reminding them that true beauty comes from the inside out. Sheri believes that God’s love for “his girls” can radically reshape their self-image while igniting a passion to model their lives after Christ. To compliment this message, Sheri has also founded Super Model Conferences, a
day long, interactive, inspiring, totally–girl event that encourages young ladies to live modest, pure, and godly lives.

Currently, Sheri is a wife, mother, and homemaker and when time allows, she enjoys serving the Lord as an author, speaker, conference host, and inspirational soloist. She is married to the man of her dreams, Tony Prescott, who serves in our United States Army and has returned home after serving 13 months in Iraq. They have been married 9 years and have three precious children; Savannah Rose, Alisa Grace, and Levi James. She continues to pursue the vision God has laid on her heart to reach the world with his love and truth by her word, song, and service.

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'"
Romans 10:13-35

* Sheri’s presentations are excellent for a variety of youth and women’s events such as retreats, conferences, banquets, churches, schools, camps, mother/daughter and military events.
